Udon Noodle, taste is very good!

Udon is made of flour. It is one of traditional Japanese noodle.
Udon of la ferme du Desert is handmade. Noodle is cut by a very big noodle knife. Only professional can make good Udon such the picture. You can have real taste of Udon only at la ferme du Desert in Switzerland.

Tomorrow lunch menu is Ramen with Chashu

It's really Japanese ramen menu. Chashu is made of pork. The chashu for ramen is a little bit different from Chinese one. It especially goes well with ramen.

New Lunch menu schedule

According to the vacance season, we made a new lunch menu schedue. That is only during the vacance season. The new schedule is as following;
Mon. Swiss menu
Tue. Swiss menu
Wed. Japanese menu
Thu. Swiss menu
Fri. Japanese menu

Lanch menu 18CHF

Of cause we have a regular menu at lunch time.

We have Swiss and Japanese menu for lunch time.  Each menu costs 18CHF.  Handmade noodle costs less than 20CHF is only here in Switzerland!

Nous avons le menu suisses et japonais pour l'heure du déjeuner. Chaque menu coûts 18CHF. Coûts de nouilles faites à la main moins de 20CHF est seulement ici en Suisse!

Wir haben Schweizer und japanischen Menü zur Mittagszeit. Jedes Menü kostet 18CHF. Handmade Nudeln kostet weniger als 20CHF ist nur hier in der Schweiz!

Hello, everybody!

I'm a Japanese chef of the restaurant "La Ferme du Desert", Lausanne, Switzerland.  I'd like to introduce our restaurant from now.

I'm making handmade noodles there.  La Ferme du Desert is the only one restaurant that serves Japanese handmade noodles in Switzerland.  I'm learning French but my French is so poor, so please allow me to write this blog in English.  I will try to write in French sometimes.

The restaurant opens everyday but I work from Tuesday to Saturday, so you may not get Japanese foods on Sunday and Monday.  Now I'm teaching Japanese cooking to my kitchen staff so it will be all right in couple of weeks.

You can also have good Swiss Romand foods and good beer by our own brewery at La Ferme du Desert.

Enjoy real Japanese Noodle, Swiss Romand Foods and Voudois Beer.
